Ten-Tea-Tree....ok ok. TWENTY THREE BABY!

So I turned twenty-three a few days ago. Yah…that’s right. TWENTY-THREE. It was a good one this year. Well, it actually started off on a bad note. I had a pretty shitty day at my Internship. Both my supervisors each had left a pretty big project for me to work on…that had to be completed by the end of the day…however, neither knew about the other. One of my supervisor’s told me hers was top priority and so I worked on it with her until about three straight through lunch. I was starving at three and was like, heck…I deserve to leave early. It’s my freek’n birthday. Anyway, it was pretty stressful trying to finish up all my work. My other supervisor had been out of the office and didn’t even give me proper directions, let alone tell me it had to be done for 4pm.

Long story short, I left at 4, and got to the subway station to find the TTC ticket dude missing. Unfortunately Sheppard station only has mechanical revolving doors that only allow you to go through If you insert a coin token. I only had paper tickets on me and no change. So I figure…ok…well I’ll just trade tickets with the next person that comes by. So 15 people later I start to get REAL pissed off because people think I’m trying to scam them. It was only when I shed a tear did one woman look at me, scan my ticket and say, “Ooh…ok. I guess I can trade you a ticket. It IS an Adult ticket right!?”
FUUUUUUUUUUUDGEEEEEEE!!! So anyway, I get on the subway and meet my mom at the next stop (York Mills). I was soo happy to see her.

My day went up hill from there. Igor surprised me when I got home. He was hiding in my apartment (but what he didn’t know…was that I knew this). I figured it out when he called me when my bus pulled up in front of Kaneff. I knew he was waiting at the Student Centre. Plus, I saw a guy in a brown shirt running in my building when I was approaching it. Hehe. What a cutie.

So I came home and saw a bag sitting in front of my room. He took my hand and sat me on my bed and made me open it. First I opened his awesome B-day card he made me. It was sooo cute. He took a drawing I had made him way back in the summer, made a couple of silhouettes of us and yah. You have to see it to understand. He also made my gift box with little toy blocks that say “10”, a tea bag and a wooden toy tree. It took me a while to figure out what it meant. Then I gave up. The box said, TEN-TEA-TREE. Get it? Twenty-three. 23! Cutie. That’s why I love him so much.

So I opened it up and inside I found a loot-bag (the kind you get a kiddy birthday parties, candy and toys.) lol. And also an awesome outfit from R.W & Co. It looks HAWT!
Way to go baby! Perfect sizing and all! I’ve trained him well…I have to say. *Wink.

That night we were supposed to go to Moxies for dinner, but we stopped by his place coz his mommy wanted to see me. As soon as we walked in we smelled freshly baked Burek
and chomped it down. His mom got me really cute stuff from La Senza too. :o) I heart Mrs. Mazic. So we scrapped the idea of going to Moxies and headed down to Crabby Joe’s for the UTM special. Plus Vlado and his buddies were celebrating Pasha’s b-day too.

Dinner was kind of funny. While Igor and I were eating, the waitress comes up to me with a gift bag and says its from a mystery person. I open it up to find a “My Little Pony” birthday card for a 3 year old – scratched out and written in marker “23”. In the bag was a whole bunch of kiddy toys like a Tamagotchi and some other strange stuff. The waitress comes up again 5 minutes later with a pitcher of beer, saying it was from another mystery person. I later get a text from Vlado saying, “Happy-B-day” from Pasha, Dean, Nancy etc…

So, I wanted to get Pasha back. After dinner Igor and I went next door to Wal-Mart and purchased a couple of gag gifts for Pasha. We decided to re-use his gift bag (as ghetto as that may sound…that was the point), bought a stuffed flower smiley face thingy, a very sexy thong, a ghetto DVD movie, and fairy princess birthday tiara and lastly…silly string which we sprayed all over him when we presented him with the gift.

All in all…it was a good night. :o) 23 I am.
