O&M
Soooo...after I finally accept a job, guess who calls. Yeah...just Ogilvy & Mather, one of the top ad agencies in the world...wanting me for...just the job I've always wanted. Account Executive! Yah...talk about perfect timing. So what do I do? I go for it. I had three interviews yesterday (9-10, 10-11, 11-12) for three different clients; IBM (Le Novo) Cisco and DHL. All three interviews went REALLY great. It sounded like they were really interested in my joining the team, however I did burst their bubble when I mentioned I would be leaving for Oz in two weeks and wont be back until June. Cisco needed someone to start as soon as next week...but the two other women who interviewed me said that they would work something out because they were really interested. They said that in case they need to fill the position while I'm away...to still be in touch so they can try someone out for when I get back. On top of it being a really good interview, I learned a lot about the company, training, the position and even their personal experiences. All three women were awesome.
Although they did ask "interview" type questions, we spent a lot of time also getting to know each other...and I asked a lot of questions. So...I'm really excited, but at the same time, won't talk any more about it. If an offer comes my way...I'll deal with it then. All I'm saying is that I'm in love with O&M. It's right in the heart of downtown T.O. The office is AMAZING, and the training includes O&M University, Advertising 101, production and creative 101, a mentorship program with senior partners/account supervisors and lectures from creative directors etc...from world-wide O&M offices.
I really think this is the perfect fit for ME. But like I said...I'm not going to think about this any more.
Done.
