You're in Ninz Space

Streetsville!

So...like...I bought a house...ya know? Ok..."I" didn't...but my parents did.
My dad called me on Tuesday, just as I was in the midst of finishing my research paper for Wensley and he asks, " I have three house appointments...wanna come along?"
What do I do? OBVIOUSLY drop my work to see them!

So, I'm not sure if I mentioned this before, but my family was pretty limited in terms of finding the "right" house. Mom needs something near a Go station so we were sort of restricted to areas near Erindale Go and Square One. My parents were looking at houses near Igor's place, except the houses that were up for sale were...shit. Total and complete shit.

So anyway, our real estate agent met us at the first house...and I can't even describe it. Wait, let me skip this house and go straight to the second house which was even worse. This family was asking for freeking $440,000 for a piece of garbage.I mean, the carpets were a complete writeoff, the so called "Partially finished" base-ment...only had CARDBOARD on the floor! and the walls were a complete mess...and thats just the beginning of a long list of negative's on this particilar house. Anyway...we walked out...dissapointed...until, she tooks us to a house on Streetsville.

In short: Me and my dad fell in love with it. It's a little bigger than our current house, but smaller than what we wanted. However, the house was in immaculate condition and the decor was an absolute match to our current look. On top of that, it's close access to the GO and its just a beautiful neighbourhood and house. I picked up Igor and my Mom in the evening to check out the house. By mid-night it was a done deal. The house was ours. We move in July and I am very excited. Plus, I'm only a bike ride away from Igor! Yahoo.
